History of the development of international mentoring program in the world
Big Brothers Big Sisters has positively influenced the lives life of more than 270 thousand children around the world for more than 100 years.
Big Brothers Big Sisters program is one of the oldest and most effective mentoring programs in the world. The program started operating in 1904 in the United States and spread around the world thanks to people who could no longer ignore the problems of children in need.
History of development of international mentoring program in Russia
Development of the program in Russia started with regional affiliates.
In 1999 the first mentoring program started in Perm and from there reached other regions of Russia.
Currently, we support children in 9 Russian cities (Moscow, Perm, Tambov, Ioshkar-Ola, Kirov, Ohansk, Berezniki, Tyumen, Solikamsk)
We are proud that we could provide friendship, support, adult care and hope for a brighter better life and a brighter future for hundreds of orphans and children from dysfunctional families in Russia.

Development and adaptation of the program in Russian regions Created a data base of volunteers and children in need |

Mentoring program started in Moscow Official expert report was issued by the State Institute of Family and Social Upbringing |
2008 |
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Russia became a laureate of the National Public Award for volunteers in the category Volunteers in NGO |
2009 |
Grant was given by the Foundation for Children in Difficult Situation Support |
2010 |
